wayward wind

It was a windy day today,
I think I conjured it up by blowing around
and not doing work on the weekend.
I woke up real early on the couch,
before the sun came out,
and did some writing
had some tea and granola and a nap.
Met up with my visiting cousin Sarah
together with her friend we went to the art gallery,
visiting spots I have neglected.
The wind was fun with them
Picked up when I went to another cafe,
the office,
worked on a grant in between conversations
about silent movie ideas and Sweden
to a cafe friend I hadn't had a chance to speak to lately.
Met with two Kensington girlfriends
I hadn't seen in years.
The wind was strong when I climbed home
it was almost as strong as the doubt in finishing the grant in time,
but I stepped surely home and straight to work.
I decided to run to the post office.
Back home my little lotus petals toasted,
incorporated laughing into yoga,
and meditated about being earthly.
I poured myself another glass of sweet Italian wine,
and lazed in the living room with the Spaniard
I will sleep well tonight

Very poetic...glad you persevered with the application. Who will hide Easter eggs for you?? Do Spaniards believe in the Easter Bunny?
